Just because this wasn&#8217;t labeled sex trafficking in court doesn&#8217;t mean it wasn&#8217;t. This outcome doesn&#8217;t erase the courage of the survivors who came forward, or the power they&#8217;ve had in reshaping how the world understands sex trafficking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We extend deep gratitude to Cassie, \u201cJane,\u201d and the other survivors who testified. Your bravery has sparked a national conversation about coercion, control, and consent. We know that you put yourself on the line and we understand how hard that must have been.
